Warehouse & logistics space for rent
Looking for warehouse space in Rumbula?
Rumbula is one of Riga's key logistics hubs, located ~10 km from the city centre with direct access to A6/E22, close to the airport (~5 km) and port. Class A warehouse parks offer modern, energy-efficient facilities with rents from €5.00–5.50/m²/month.
Rumbula is a neighbourhood in Riga's Latgale Suburb, situated on the right bank of the Daugava River, approximately 10 km southeast of the city centre. In the warehouse market, "Rumbula" refers to the wider logistics cluster extending past the city boundary — it also takes in the parks immediately adjacent to the neighbourhood in Stopiņi Parish (Ropaži Municipality). The district sits directly on Latgales iela (A6/E22, renamed from Maskavas iela in February 2024) — the main arterial road connecting Riga to the southeast. The A5 and A7 highways are also nearby, providing convenient access to both the Port of Riga and Riga International Airport, which is just ~5 km away.
Over the past decade, Rumbula has undergone a major transformation, emerging as one of the most important logistics and industrial hubs in the Baltic states.
Today, Rumbula hosts several modern Class A warehouse parks with a combined area exceeding 90,000 m². The district's flagship development is Sirin Rumbula Logistic Park — a contemporary warehouse complex offering energy-efficient spaces built to high quality standards.
The logistics zone attracts both local and international companies. Notable tenants include Via 3L and Kesko Senukai, confirming the area's appeal for large-scale logistics operations.
Rumbula has 861 residents (2026).
Between 2011 and 2023 it fell 18%.
In 2023 the neighbourhood had 419 employed residents, and 67% were of working age (15–64) — the immediate pool a tenant can recruit shift staff from without a long commute.
Average gross pay is EUR 1,242 a month, 23% below the Rīga average — a direct input into staffing cost.
Value added by workplace runs 4.2× the value added by residence — the area is a net importer of labour, with materially more people working here than living here. In practice that means an established employer cluster and commuting patterns that already run this way.
Population density is 1 residents per hectare.
Population and density: CSB (Latvia), beginning of 2026. Employment, pay, age structure and value added: Rīga Planning Region, 2023.
